Hi. I’m Bob Wendover . . .
husband, father, hiker, cyclist, traveler and generally happy and balanced person.
I’ve been helping employers manage their workforce challenges for more than 30 years. I write books, conduct seminars and coach people. In other words, I work for myself.
You might be thinking, “If you work for yourself, you must have complete control.” NOT TRUE!!!! I used to joke that I worked half-time --- 12 hours per day. But over time, it stopped being a joke.
Finally . . . I realized this was killing me. So I started reflecting on the more than 3000 interviews I have conducted with senior leaders. They have large responsibilities and yet are calm, balanced and enjoying life.
I realized that their strategies aren’t complicated. They don’t require lots of time. They just use a collection of subtle techniques to manage themselves and those around them. When I started practicing these ideas myself, my pressures began to dissipate almost immediately.
Over time, I’ve identified more than 125 of these tactics. Today, I enjoy a life full of balance. Yet my business continues to thrive. Bottom line? I’m in a great place and I’d like to share these strategies with you.
